About

When it comes to visual design, there’s definitely a surplus of complexity in learning both the foundations and the software associated with it. That’s why I’m here to help ease some of that pain. My name is Jake an I’ve been involved with graphic design for a little over six years now, and I want to share some of the tips and tricks I’ve learned with you all.

My goal for these tutorials is to simultaneously teach techniques in Adobe Illustrator and educate readers about the dizzying world of design principles. I believe this joint teaching method is valuable for designers who need to quickly learn both about software and artistic fundamentals, such as balance, pattern, unity, and many more.
